Sigh
March 1st, 2008 by Rian | Filed under Miscellaneous.I met the most beautiful man EVER this afternoon at the pool hall. Yes, B and I went to play pool again today. Saturday is actually a really popular day to go there, more so than Tuesday nights. (For obvious reasons).
So there was a quiet but very cute guy… and I know for a fact he was looking at me as much as I was looking at him because we kept catching each other’s eye! We even got a chance to play a game against each other and he was complimenting all of my shots. But B, as I mentioned in another post, has a crush on me, and started acting all territorial like sitting right next to me and flirting which he usually doesn’t do. He probably sensed something was up. That kind of put me in an awkward place because I try not to flirt with guys in front of him to not hurt his feelings.
And THEN when I decided to head home, B made a big show of leaving with me, which is another thing he doesn’t usually do.
What am I supposed to do about this, I wonder? I was forced to leave without saying good-bye to the guy. I hope I get to see him again… he had the most beautiful eyes. I guess I’ll have to talk to B about acting that way when he knows that we are only friends.. I’ve drummed it into his head countless times. Chances are he is going to be pretty hurt or mad and probably won’t speak to me for a while.
On another note, I completely destroyed my “natural foods” diet by eating half of a grilled cheese sandwich and some fries (although not many) at the bar.
Later edit:
OK, my eating plan went completely out the window today. I’m not even going to get into what I had for dinner. It was bad, but I didn’t eat much of it. My stomach seems like someone has sown part of it up inside or something.
Tomorrow, B and I are going back to Boston. We plan hours of brisk walking, including up and down subway stairs, so I’m looking forward to it! I won’t need to go to the gym tomorrow.

Poor guy! He really likes you. I used to have a friend who did the same thing. I got around it by approaching interesting guys myself (normally I am more traditional) and saying things like, “he’s just a friend.” Since he was making eye contact with you, he definitely would have been responsive!
Have a good weekend!
