Exercise Addict
December 4th, 2007 by Rian | Filed under Miscellaneous.Hi, my name is Rian, and I’m an exercise addict.
:::and the crowd shouts: “Hi Rian!!!!!!“:::
(Yes, I’m also a hopeless geek, in case you couldn’t tell).
Anyway…. I am in a super-good mood right now because I got on the scale this morning and have lost yet another pound despite the facts that: I have been working out on the highest level on the elliptical and building more muscle (I can feel it!) and the fact that I’m on my “time” right now.
So yes, I have been making use of my wonderful elliptical machine. Even though I’ve had a bad head cold for the past couple of days, I have still been working out. The craziest thing of all is that the exercise seems to help me breathe better. I could get on the thing with a stuffy nose and chest, do a grueling workout, then get off and feel friggin’ great! (Although yes, I have to blow my nose a few times during the workout, but whatever).
I love my elliptical. In case you couldn’t tell. My body feels fan-f*ckingtastic despite my being sick. I started doing reverse training on the machine (where I pedal backwards) and that reaches even more muscles in my legs and thighs. My thighs actually feel hard when I touch them, which is soooo weird!
OK, I’m rambling on and on. I’m just in a good mood because I feel so good physically. Plus the weight is finally coming off again. I think I was on a plateau for a few weeks there.
I will have an official weight/measurement update on Wednesday of this week.
Until then…. happy exercising!

Good for you!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait for your update! I originally started doing kind of moderately low carb, now I am doing full-on low carb, and I love reading your blog to hear about your experiences and progress, victories and struggles.
Keep up the good work!
