Day One and Two: Not Good
August 2nd, 2007 by Rian | Filed under Miscellaneous.OK, it’s been really hard to get myself back onto Kimkins. To be honest, it’s been impossible. I have all the healthy foods in my fridge, but my body doesn’t want to eat any of them. For some reason, I have had very little appetite, and I go hours and hours without eating. For my poor wonky metabolism, this isn’t good. I only lose weight by eating little to nothing after a couple of months. Meaning, I can go several weeks, barely eating anything, and I won’t really lose weight. If I do it for about six weeks, then yes, I will lose significantly. But by then I’m usually sick.
For now, I have completely and utterly blown my low carb diet. For when I did decide to eat tonight, I settled for chicken fingers and cheetos. It’s the only thing I felt remotely interested in eating. And no, I didn’t overeat at all. My stomach still can’t tolerate the large meals I once ate. But I’m sure I ate way too many calories and carb nonetheless.
I guess I will try again tomorrow.
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, when I’m going through that phase I actually allow myself to eat all the junk I want in that one day or two…sure you’ll take in alot of calories (3500 cals = 1 pound) however, if you allow yourself to eat what you want and as much as you want all day, I find that you make yourself sick with it, and the body starts craving the good stuff…screaming for veggies. Once you’re back on the kimkins wagon, then set your mind for the next goal allowing yourself an unauthorized meal when you’ve reached it…and then onto the next goal. Good luck hun, you so can beat this!
I need help too! ahh! I over ate way too much last night. I don’t know why I do this sometimes? I feel so sick when I eat too much!
I hope you get back on you diet soon. I know I’m having some problems w/ this too!
You just have to set your mind to it, and do it.
How has your exercise been going?
I’m trying to focus on this more too. Well here’s to a new month!
We can do this…just have to stick to it!
I was actually going to suggest the same thing as Rebecca…usually after a day of totally blowing my diet, I feel sluggish and full of crap food. Then my body craves healthy foods again and it’s easier to get back on track.
good luck, you’ll be fine in a couple days, give your body time to readjust!
