Another Update

OK, I still don’t have a scale at this point in time. I ended up not going to get one the other day due to the ridiculous snowstorm we had. I am however planning to hit Wal-Mart today and get one, as long as I feel a bit better in an hour or so. I’m a bit under the weather today (have been all weekend in fact).
I have something to confess about my weight… something I have a hard time admitting. But here goes…
I eat too much. That’s why I’m overweight. There is no other reason. Well, that and my previous lack of exercise.
It’s easy to fool oneself and say “I really don’t eat that much, why am I fat?” and “I have a slow metabolism”, etc. But for me, it’s both. I was probably cursed with a slow metabolism because obesity sort-of runs in the family. But overall, I really do eat too much.
There, I said it… I eat too much. Especially when I’m drunk!
OK, I will post my weight later on. I’m having heart palpitations thinking about what it might be…

Ah … eating too much .. that’s kinda my problem .. i am married and have a daughter of 2 and half yr old. My husband is my trainer…:)he is very hard and discipline in eating manner and i am just i have no patience this is what i am learning now a days.. i say you do too … loosing weight is a battle of MIND and BODY not just BODY.. once u control your mind in it u have won 50 % of the Battle …so this is where he says Control is the factor comes in “Eating Manners” what i say its better to keep a eating journal .. u can do it easily at Gmail Calender. if you don’t have a gmail account i will send you the invitation for it if you want …. and please do update so far what your wt is and how much u have lost …. sorry for long comment ..:(
I know what you mean about eating too much. Most of the time when I find myself eating, I’m not even really that hungry. It’s just something to do to keep form bordom or it’s a habit (like snacking when drinking, etc.). It’s just tough to break out of all those olf food habits.
I’m currently on a weight loss journey myself. I gained weight over the winter. I’m 5′6 and currently weigh 156 pounds. I was at 167 when i started on 2/18/07. My goal is to get back down to 145lbs.
