So Here I Am

Hmm… here I am again, on the path to losing weight.

I’m using a low carb method, as I did last time. Once upon a time I lost about 20 pounds doing a semi-low carb plan, eating six small meals a day and eating all of my healthy carbs in the morning. I lost weight very rapidly that way, and am sort of doing the same thing again.

So here are my scary stats:

Start weight, Feb 25th: 160
Height: 5′5

It’s very frightening for me to know I weigh so much. Once upon a time, my “high weight” was 140! Now 140 would be very welcome. But anyway.

My low carb plan was shot to hell today because I spent the day sick. Tomorrow I shall start again. It’s kind of a bummer because I was on the low carb thing for the past 6 days and doing quite well. But gatorade and crackers pretty much blew it for me, although I probably didn’t go over 90 carbs altogether. (Better than the average person’s 300-400 carbs a day!)

I was definitely in Ketosis for the past couple of days.

The way you discuss low carbohydrate dieting is refreshing. Thanks.

Hi

I have had trouble losing weight for a longtime myself until I found out that I have candida. You should look into this maybe, check out this webgroup…

it’s in yahoo.com groups area just look for the candida support group run by bee. There is a great diet on there that has helped me lose weight and feel healthy very similar to a no carb diet but different
good luck!

Its not easy to be honest about it. Thank you for doing this post. Its very helpful.

How much weight did you say you wanted to lose? Was that 40 pounds?

Last year, I was able to get down to 116. I can’t believe how disciplined I was! I would do almost anything to be able to weigh that much again. But, in any case, I’m trying to diet too. I’ll be fine for a while, and then I just start eating whatever I want, and it doesn’t work anymore. But this time will be different. I know it will. This time I will make sure I don’t eat too much, and eat smaller portions, and exercise every day.
